Stress Management Training
It is estimated that more than 40% of absence due to sickness can be attributed to stress. Coaching is becoming more widely valued as a tool to help staff cope with situations that cause them stress. The degree of stress someone experiences depends chiefly on their perception of the situation and the resources they have to deal with it. Stress can build up over time and lead to a downward spiral of negative thinking. Self esteem suffers as the person concerned believes they are unable to cope, often judging themselves too harshly and seeing the situation in an unrealistic and unresourceful way.
When experiencing stress on an ongoing basis, the body literally forgets how to relax. We deliver training in the workplace so that your employees develop skills to deal with stress more effectively than they have done before.
The training is relaxed and fun, with the aim of allowing participants to assess and acknowledge their own personal stress levels, and work towards finding ways to eliminate them.
