Work/Life Harmony

Where do you want to be in five years’ time? Perhaps you are thinking of a career change. It is very natural to feel afraid of what feels like making a leap into the unknown, and if you’ve been in the same job for a long time you may not have the confidence to look for something better. If you have had a break from work, perhaps looking after a family, it can seem daunting: you want to get back to the stimulus of a working environment but, having been out of the workplace for a while, your self esteem needs a boost.

 

Your area of concern may be coping with a heavy workload, which not only causes stress at work, but reduces the time you have for the people and activities you value. This could mean reassessing your work routine and making small changes to the way you manage yor life. Managing your time according to your values, and not according to a long ‘to do’ lists results in a much greater feeling of fulfilment. .

 

We look not only at practical techniques such as managing time and decision-making but at the inner beliefs you have about your work and your abilities to deal with it..
